As our Union is affiliated with FNEEQ, we have access to a self-financed collective insurance plan, owned by FNEEQ and administered by Beneva. This plan includes
- health insurance,
- optional dental insurance,
- travel insurance,
- long-term disability insurance, and
- life insurance.
The short-term disability insurance is a benefit under the collective agreement and is not part of our group plan.
Note that not all faculty are eligible to the group plan, and that you may get an exemption from the basic health insurance under specific circumstances.
